"Seasoned" Christian Rock and Praise & Worship bass player and vocalist. Recently escaped from the club scene and haven't looked back. At this point, my P&W schedule is only half full, and I'm itching for additional opportunities to serve. My roots are Bakersfield/neotraditional country, EDM/Pop, and modern rock. The bulk of my work has been in female-fronted bands.
Currently playing Tomlin, Baloche, Third Day, Shust, Brenton Brown, MW Smith, Redman, Plumb, Battistelli, Building 429, Mandisa.
Tight, powerful, clean player with a classic studio-quality tone. (I will never cut through your mix.)
My voice is strong, bell-clear, accurate, expressive, and loud. It works well solo and harmonizes well with both male and female lead singers. It tops out at F. If you don't need vocals at all, that's fine, but I'm confident you'll want to put my voice to use once you hear it.
Proficient with the Nashville Number System.
Decades of real-world experience with audio and sound systems, including design from the ground up.
Non-smoker, non-drinker, non-drug user.
I show up on time with my homework done. I slot in fast. I pull my weight. Ultra-dedicated and ultra-driven. And (shocker) I know how to communicate. I'm hoping to see the same level of commitment and performance from the next organization I join.
Serious inquiries from tightly-run bands only, please. I bring the real deal to your project. I'm not some dumpy, overweight old guy who's out to kill a few hours a week because he ran out of other things to do. I'm in this to excel. I find my joy in working hard and helping a band put out a vastly superior product compared to the competition. If your band has a strong perfectionist tilt -- if your idea of a "fun band" is a band whose members love working their butts off to get those last little rough spots sanded down smooth -- then you'll wonder where I've been!
