I am a Christian bass player who has been "holding down the low end" since 1974. Through the years I have been blessed to have had opportunities to work in concert settings with several internationally-known Christian artists and groups and to have performed in nearly every one of the "lower 48" United States and in parts of Canada.

My musical experience has covered a wide range of styles including Blues, Country, Folk, Funk, Fusion, Gospel, Jazz, Pop, R&B, Rap, Rock, Urban Gospel, and World Music.

I strive to remain as musically active as my schedule will allow and can be found playing bass with CIA's Momentum Awards 2009 Female Artist of the year, Frances Drost (www.francesdrost.com); the gospel choir at the Harrisburg Brethren in Christ Church (www.harrisburgbic.org), at the contemporary worship services at the Carlisle Brethren in Christ Church (www.carlislebic.org) and at various Christian gatherings, fairs, conferences and coffee houses.

Influences:

I have a rather eclectic list of influences because I really do enjoy listening to and playing a wide variety of musical styles. But, my short-list would consist of Abraham Laboriel, Sr. (my greatest bass playing influence), Nathan East, Marcus Miller, Esperanza Spalding, Wayman Tisdale, Verdine White, Peter "Mars" Cowling.

Presently I'm enjoying listening to Jeff Berlin, Brian Bromberg, Fourplay, Everett Harp, Level 42, Salvador. When it's time to rock I enjoy listening to Pat Travers and similar musicians/bands.
