The Crawford Perkes Band is Sacramento Area's premier Classic Rock band. They have an awesome sound and they put on a great show. Check out their song list. It contains some of the most popular and some of the most challenging to play, Classic Rock Songs ever written. They do NOT play any original material, because that is not what people want to hear. They play the songs that people grew up with, the songs people love to sing to, and the songs people love to tap their feet to. What could be more American?
If you like Classic Rock you will love this band. Their wide range of musical styles make them a superb choice for all types of events including, Weddings, Festivals, Fairs, Corporate Functions, Private Parties and Clubs. The band has their own stage lighting system and several different sizes of quality PA systems, making them perfect choice for large outdoor or smaller indoor venues. So, put on your dancing shoes and let's party!
The band features three different lead vocalist with lots of harmony vocals. This gives the band a very full sound and it is something that you don’t see much any more these days. You won’t get tired of hearing the same lead vocalist with this band. The Crawford Perks Band is sure to keep you on your toes.
The band consists of 30 year veteran musician Mark Crawford, on guitar and vocals, Allison Perkes on keyboards and vocals, 35 year veteran Russell Abraham on guitar and vocals, and Stefan Elkins on drums.

Members Of Band
Mark Crawford (Guitar and Vocals)
One thing is for certain, Mark loves to play on stage and it shows in his performances. He is a versatile guitar player that not only plays his leads with a passion, but also plays a great slide guitar and “Talk Box” guitar like Peter Frampton uses. His lead vocals are powerful and smooth and he adds great harmony backup vocals for the other members.
As a solo artist Mark has completed four original CD projects. He is an accomplished singer and song writer and has spent countless hours in recording studios chasing his passion. Mark has also played in various local Classic Rock bands for 30 years or so. He has played at most of the Clubs in the Sacramento, Folsom, Auburn, and Grassvalley/Nevada City areas. He was the founding member of the Classic Rock Band “Buffalo” and has been in various other local bands such as; “American Trucking Company”,”Staggertune”, “Pueblo”, “The Crawford Granthem Band” and the Classic Rock band “BEAM”, which he still is a member of.
Allison Perkes (Keyboard and Vocals)
Allison’s outgoing and fun loving personality makes her the perfect front person for the band since she connects with the audience, making it fun for everyone! Her smooth rich vocals and keyboard abilities help provide a solid foundation for the group. She grew up in a musical family and music has always been an important part of Allison’s life which is obvious when you watch her perform.
Russell Abraham (Guitar and Vocals)
Music is Russ’s passion. He has dedicated his whole life to the art. Russ holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and has been a Music Teacher in the San Juan School District for almost 30 years now. After school, he teaches Guitar and Ukulele lessons. Russ is also a professional vocal coach.
Russ is an accomplished lead guitar player and vocalist. He adds strength to the band and is a pro in every sense of the word. His vast musical experience has helped the band excel to the next level. Russ has tons of performing experience. Through the years Russ has played in a variety of different bands, such as: “Alive and Well”, “Sonik Alibi”, “Time Out”, and he is still a member of “The Accidental Teachers”, a band made up of various music teachers in the area. In his earlier years Russ was a road musician playing in various cover bands touring throughout the United States.
Stefan Elkins (Drums)
Stefan is by far one of the best drummers in the Sacramento area. He is the backbone of the Crawford Perkes Band. When Stefan plays, you can actually feel the “Grove” of the music. He keeps a strong solid beat that will keep your toes tapping and is fun to watch. Stefan has been playing drums for 15 years, and has been a member of various local bands throughout the Sacramento area, such as “Todd Morgan and the Emblems”, “Justice”, and “The Supreme Punks”.
