ABOUT

Like lots of mature players, I've progressed through multiple phases that included hard rock, classic rock, southern rock, country, blues, and a dose of jazz and an injection of bluegrass. Currently most interested in a laid-back band situation where I play only or mostly bass but maybe with some opportunity for guitar and ukulele. Info on the music:

How Was I Supposed to Know She Was Crazy. Original song, copyright 2009, Lenny Nipper. All parts and vocals recorded in by me. Written to celebrate both my own and my brother's failed marriages, and remixed recently to honor his passing in 2012.

Thinkin Back. Original song, copyright 2009, Lenny Nipper. Written as I was thinking about getting old. Drums courtesy of my good friend Dan Thayer, all other parts performed and recorded by me.

Willin. A take on Lowell George's beautiful trucking song written in 1970 and on the original Little Feat album. All parts recorded by me except for the most excellent Dobro tracks courtesy of Brent Hodge.

Under The Boardwalk. An instrumental version of Under the Boardwalk. All parts performed and recorded by me with DOD drum loops.
