I'm a songwriter and guitar player... my vocal talents are not overwhelming. But I think I have a strong catalog of originals and my vocals are OK. I play mostly rhythm... my lead skills raw - just working by ear...
But, I can lead a band. I'm a good songwriter.
I want to practice with some new friends and make some music with the intention to play out and maybe use garage band to lay down tracks and I want it to be fun. I want it to be a natural progression of working wiht other muscisans to create some cool sounds.
when I was young in college I played out at bars in Providence... but that was a long time ago.

I'm 42 so I grew up with alt rock/grunge... from Chili Peppers Pixies Janes Addiction Violet Femmes classic rock Marley Beatles Stones Jimi Guns N Roses.. jam rock.. and also cool punk from Sunny Day, Tell All Your Friends, Lifetime Boys Night Out and rock/rap/hip hop new sh*t Aer, Nykee Heaton Lana Del Rey Kings of Leon and even electronic music... I listen to everything!!!
