Crisis in Cairo (previously Drivestone) is a band that toured in the US, Europe, Asia. CiC is comprised of two talented visionaries:Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Chris Stanley, and Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Richard Lander II. CIC blends Stanleys melodic Hooks with Landers raw lyrical storytelling. Combined is a unique musical landscape that stands out in a music scene that reuses the same concepts over and over. CIC was also put into rotation on around 50 Clear Channel radio stations. We are looking for back up musicians who can learn prewritten parts and play them on stage. Look us up on myspace if you are interested in auditioning. We will be screening possibles until early Nov 2009. Around mid Nov we will begin the auditions. This is not some local garage band. We are sitting at over half a million myspace plays as well as in talks with labels and are currently being played on 50+ radio stations so please only serious musicians need apply.
