ABOUT
I played with bands off and on in the 70's and 80's doing blues and cover (copy) stuff. Lately, I've gotten a lot more into improvisation, and I'm really happy with the tone I'm getting out of my guitar and amp. Gettin' a little tired of just playing for my cat (I'm not sure he appreciates me, anyway)and am very interested in putting together a band. Wanna do original arrangements on classic rock tunes from Dylan, Grateful Dead, Stones, Allman Brothers, Santana, Hendrix (!!!) etc. Songs with chord structures that allow for improvisation. Looking for bass, drums, keyboard, vocal. Would really like a drummer with an electric drumset...anybody doin that? I'm not the flashiest player, but if I stay in my limits, I sound clean and professional. Would like to meet musicians who can do the same.
