I'm classical and Jazz trained sax player who switched to bass. Went to music school and all that so the theory is there but a tad rusty. Good news is this puts me way ahead of the learning curve for someone playing as long as me. I have an excellent sense of time, rhythm and groove. I can handle some Primus and Stevie Wonder covers if that gives you a taste of my skill level.I really want to get back into playing regular gigs like when I played sax.
I am available mornings and early after noon until 2pm. My days off or are usually Monday and Tuesday. If a gig looks good I can probably rework my schedule a bit.
