Cyphn originally formed in 1999 with a little different line-up.2 Singers(they traded off),2 guitarist,bass and a different drummer than present day.Right away, that changed to just one guitarist, myself, due to lack of committment by the other guitarist.We developed a sound and had a descent group of original songs together and then our drummer departed without notice and then other stupid decisions broke the rest apart.
2007:Cyphn starts making music again.Founding members Steve and Brian start out with samples and some cool ideas, then they called me back to the fold and then the samples got replaced by our drummer Ryan.We have been working on some cover tunes to fill our set-lists because we would like to be playing out as soon as possible.We feel another guitar would add dimension to our sound and allow us more creativity.
