SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Vocalist - Tenor, Rhythm Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Keyboard, Background Singer, Other.ABOUT
I should begin by the telling of age, as there is no field of endeavor by which age is more prevelant a factor than entertainment - namely music, in this case 40. I came up in Sioux Falls; heavily involved in the music scene years ago before heading West to California. My career out West was the music business, as a first call performance hired gun on drums / bass, studio musician, recording and FOH engineer, writer / arranger, and day job international instrument commodities broker / merchandising manager with Lark in the Morning.
Now relocated back to Sioux Falls, I'd love to get reacquainted with the local music scene, either by joining up with an established band or starting a new one. I'm an accomplished drummer and bassist, as well a passable rhythm guitarist and background, or on a limited basis, lead vocalist (baritone / tenor range). I can read / write charts, have ample performance ready gear, and a very usable project recording studio in my basement with two sound controlled / draped wall recording rooms.
Would be glad to hear from any bands / musicians here in town looking for an experienced player to come on board, or am always very interested in collaborating with musicians on recording projects or interested in starting a band.
