How many of us feel stuck?
How many of us have made mistakes that have shaped our current lives?
How many of us aren't really happy with the way things are turning out?
If we were ourselves as children, would we even recognize ourselves?
These are questions that bother my mind when I'm awake and feel I cannot take a step in the right direction. Opportunities are things I don't know how to find sometimes so I'm glad I found this site.
I want to start something. I've always wanted to be part of a music group that inspires others to follow their own path, no matter their circumstances, their pasts, or their flaws.
But when I share this with others, I'm told it's hard to do. "Especially with a full time job and children." Thereby implying that I shouldn't even try.
Who likes to feel complacent? Like all they'll ever do is work until they die?
Certainly not me.
Help me start something. I learn fast and I have a set of pipes. I can learn an instrument. I write.
All I've ever wanted to do is make music and inspire the human spirit. Life has gotten in the way. A lot. However, I want to find the balance between all that I do and inject my passion in there wherever possible.
Music is like love. It's universal and it's never going away. It's inspiring and sometimes frustrating. It's a reflection of you, me, your grandparents, that stranger on the street. The same piece can inflict an array of emotions and thought in different people. You feel it with everything you are or ever will be.
If you're interested and would like to brainstorm with me, please feel free to contact me. I keep telling myself, "Don't ever feel like you can't do something. No matter your restrictions, your true self will find a way." Perhaps this is the start of something great!
We can pull ourselves out.
We can move on from our past mistakes.
We don't have to take the easiest most obvious path. Things don't have to turn out the way we think they're going.
I want my inner child to be proud. I want my kids to see it's possible to follow their own dreams.
