I'm a 30 year old music fan and a songwriter/musician who wanted to start a six-piece eclectic rock band called The Pittsburgh Warriors. I haven't recorded any material yet but I do have lyrics that I've written. Also,I've never played in bands but I have jam with a couple musicians before. I'm looking for 5 talented,little or no experieced,laid back musicians who wants to play real music just like myself. I'm looking for two guitarists who can play lead or rhythm or both (ala Keith Richards and Brian Jones/Mick Taylor/Ron Wood,Kirk Pengilly and Tim Farris,Slash and Izzy Stradlin,etc),a bassist,a drummer and a keyboardist who also can play the guitar (ala Steve Winwood,Andrew Farris). Race and gender don't matter to me but the age group are betweem 21 to 30 years old. As you can see that my influences are very eclectic and that's the kind of sounds that I really want the band to be.
