ABOUT

SEIZURE 69 first came together to write and record in 2001. Frontman/Vocalist Damon Savich and Guitarist Jim "Ab" Abercrombie had been great friends way back in the good old 1980's, and Ab had engineered an early SLASHER recording in 1985, when Damon was singing with the band. Cut to present day and you will find Damon and Ab working tirelessly to re-master nearly 40 songs the two have recorded together since the inception of "Seizure 69". Original S69 drummer and bassist both prefer to be "part-time" musicians, so SEIZURE 69 are seeking players who can commit "full-time" for work on the new "Seizure 69 - Gemini Project" tracks. The music is definitely "Old School" Hard Rock/Heavy Metal with a nod to bands like Rush, Queen, Rainbow, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc.

Influences

SEIZURE 69 draw upon the likes of Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, KISS, Scorpions, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, and other '80's Super-groups. However, Damon's musical tastes reach back to bands like The Ink Spots, The Coasters, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, and The Beatles, while Jim Abercrombie can be found belting out the lyrics to many Elton John classics, and playing along with timeless tracks from The James Gang, The Eagles, or Boston, too. Let's just say the band likes GREAT Music of all varieties.

Members Of Band

Damon Savich (Lyrics, Lead & Backing Vocals, Drum Programming, Arr.) - Young Tom Williams changed his name to "Damon Savich" in 1982 when he founded his very first Metal Band, "KCORDICA", which was Acid Rock spelled backwards. Damon has fronted bands like "Slasher", "Iscariot", "The Gina Demos Project", "Mindcage", "Endless Dream", and current bands "Seizure 69" and "The Lowered". Jim Abercrombie has played with "Kross", "Mamahead", "Planet Baby Monkey", "Uncle Fletcher" and "4 Star Daydream". Both have found different levels of success along the way, across a thirty year span, and their exploits have resulted in a whole lot of great recordings, soon to be released under the "Dog Kiss Records" label.
