About
At the age of 5, Dan was always around the music scene. It was his Brother Jerry who was the musician in the family and while growing up in that, Dan became interested in drums. He began taking private lessons at10 years old, coaching other drummers in the 6th grade music class, and also taught private lessons.
Super-D has been bangn’ on the drums for some 35 years. You may notice that sound of a cool funk groove, that straight forward rock beat, whatever the style, SUPER-D does it with passion.
Influences: Keith Moon – The Who and Charlie Watts - The Rolling Stones. (From one extreme to the other)
Super-D has performed with some of Metro Detroit’s finest bands which include Legal Tender, Impact with Mark Ryder, Just Jill, The Love Junkies and The Pulse.
Influences
The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin and many more. Although the classics are my influences, I really like playing more modern rock: Maroon-5, Pink, Black Keys, Lady GaGa Etc...
Equipment List
Yahama Stage Custom drums qith 24" kick. Zildian A Custom and lots of chrome. I play a 4-piece kit with 4 cymbals (NO CHINA). I have mics, cables and other hand drums. I also have road cases for all of my equipment. dandubay2006 at yahoo dot com
