Hey, I'm Dan. I played bass in a band all through junior high and high school, but have barely touched it since college. All in all I have probably played 30+ shows.
I miss playing shows, and I would like to get back into it. I'm down to play pretty much anything, and have the skills to do so. My weak point is improvising, but my technique is spot-on. I can play most covers, and write a solid bass line to any original song.
Haven't not played for years, I'm rusty and my calluses are gone, but I'd love to change that. I also like long walks on the beach. This seriously feels like I'm writing a dating profile.

Influences
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Cake, Incubus, Blind Melon, O.A.R., 311, and Sublime defined my playing style. However, I listen to pretty much every genre except country. I grew up on classic rock, but I love funk bassists the most. Victor Wooten is a huge idol of mine, but I can't say I derive any technique from him.
