Professional Saxophonist (and multi-instrumentalist) new to Grand Junction. I teach private lessons out of Mesa Music and have been playing for 20 years (over 15 professionally). I would tour with the right group and am available. Ideally, I would like a band of no more than 6 members that can play originals, standards and covers so that we are not limited to the type of gig we can play. Looking for serious musicians with some experience or at least a strong work ethic to learn. I write but have done so (mostly) as part of other groups. Influences
Way too many.... I'm versatile because I've listened and studied Classical, Jazz and numerous Pop/Rock Genres. Favorite Saxophonists are: Cannonball Adderley, Michael Brecker, Stan Getz and Paul Desmond. But don't expect me to play like any one of them. I'm slightly more modern, R&B.
