i would like to consider myself a well rounded musician. my forte is guitar, my Acoustic style is mostly contemporary i like playing in dadgag and expirementing with fret tapping, but i have a strong background in more traditional styles ( i just like playing things that are a little unordinary). I also play electric alot i have to admit that i have a weakness for heavier music i love the energy and punch of a good breakdown, but once again i have backgrounds in many styles including some blues and a little jazz. I dont have alot of great band expirience but i love the feeling and energy in a really great jam (which alot of people suprisingly dont know how to do) but most of my time i spent recording my own music at my home studio so i have basic skills in most band related instruments ( elementary keys, bass, drum, and other percusion). one time a friend of mine told me that i could pick up any stringed instrument and make it sing and i thought that was really flatering. i also have a strong background in vocals contemporary, traditional, and DEATH!.... sorta CONTACT: allenbsu@

my mellow influences include: Pierre Bensusan, Justin King, Sigu Ros, Di Meola, Ravi Shankar,i love the Dead, and have a real weakness for the beatles, ben harper, blues traveler and of course Marley.
My biggest Heavy influences are: Between the buried and me, between the buried and me, and between the buried and me, Opeth, Dream theater ( i cant play like petrucci of course but its someting to aspire to), ALL THAT REMAINS (Thank you shadows fall for bailing on phil labonte so he could be in a good band), the agony scene, OLD killswitch (jesse leach era), Blood has been shed ( where howard jones should be), Onderoath (not really heavy but close)
Misc: Coheed and Cambria, Dead poetic, album leaf, tool, a perfect circle, and the classics: Zepplin, floyd, doors, and i'm a closet journey fan
