About

A well-trained percussionist, who has been formally trained in classical music, jazz, rock, contemporary music, and additional styles. Has taken many music courses (such as music theory) to compliment my percussion ability, so I can easiy read sheet music. Can easily adapt to most musical styles.

Influences

Libery Devito of the backing band for Billy Joel contributed the most to my style, as well as the late Jeff Pocaro, who may have been one of the most well-rounded drummers ever, yet seems to not have received the recognition he deserved.

Equipment List

Ludwig 5-piece; I tend to use Remo pinstripe heads since I like the dampening affect, the fast decay as well as the depth of tones acquired. Six, 8, and 10 inch roto-toms. Zildjian ZBT cymbals for the most part, but I will go back and forth between the ZBT's and my heavier Zildjian cymbals and paper-thin crash.
