ABOUT
Since opening Soundmine Recording Studio in 19?97, I have worked with thousands of musicians from just about everywhere. My work with my own music propelled me into producing, songwriting, and engineering for other artists. I specialize in mixing tracks and am often compared to some of the best known mixers in the business. I discovered the guitar at age twelve, began writing songs and playing in bands at fourteen, and never looked back. Anything other than music has never been an option. As a self-taught and seasoned engineer, mixer, and producer, I have been able to make music and use technology to create some outstanding recordings over the years. In 2014, Soundmine Recording Academy was born. Teaching classes to aspiring engineers and producers at Soundmine Recording Studio allows me to work with a number of enthusiastic and talented students and to help prepare them for careers in the music industry. Beyond producing and mixing, I have collaborated with many talented musicians at my studio in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and have had the pleasure and opportunity of working with an impressive list of producers including Toby Wright, Jim Morris, Steve Lyon, Joe West, Shep Goodman, Brett Hestla, Ross Hogarth, Domingo (Beatz) Padilla and many more.

Rates
Recording- $75 per hour in Studio A and $45 per hour in Studio B
Mixing- Per song rate. Please call for more information.
Mastering- $75 per song, $60 per song for 4 or more songs
Drum Programming- Per song rate. Please call for more information.
Production- Per song rate. Please call for more information.
Artist Distribution through The Orchard/Sony- This service is reserved for select clients whose songs have been mixed and produced by Dan Malsch.
Events- Team Building Recording Event, Holiday Office Gathering, Meet and Greet, Workshops, Recording Classes
