I’m 45 in ’08 and piano is my first instrument - started lessons at age 2. Got serious on guitar about age 16. Mostly toured as a piano player but perform solo on guitar most of the time. I sing lead and harmony, play bass guitar marimba, mandolin, steel drum . I’m looking for a few players that are into my type of TROP ROCK music (for lack of a better way – Jimmy Buffett meats James Taylor)

For music other then mine - I'm available for road tours and recording sessions. I'll play in local acts but I really prefer to be rehearsed. Sit in gigs are not really my style.

I've owned a studio since 1986 so and have been playing sessions since 1976. I have top notch gear, a level and stable mind, and good work ethic. I am NOT a user of anything except a beer or glass of wine at dinner.

For many years I have mostly played in the studio with only minimum gigging. I toured with rock bands, techie band, semi-punk and many of the old Motown acts as Piano/musical director (Bobby Day, Cornel Gunter - Coasters, The Platters, Little Dion). I've written and recorded with Sly Stone, played sessions for a heap of big names too..... I mention this for only one reason, to let you know I can cut the gig. Its no big deal if you are a kid just starting or a seasoned pro. If you can play, you can play and I'd like to work with you.

I'm not a mercenary but I do make my living from music. If you are close to being a working act and think you want to work with me, let me know.

It’s easier to say what I am not into. I do not do heavy metal or hard core anything. I don’t like rap.

My favorite music is island style Trop-Rock music and classic rock. My favorite artists to listen too are: (old) James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Loggins, Doobie Brothers, Little River Band, Orleans, and oh so many more. Newer music favorites are Little Big Town, Kenny Chesney, Great Divide, and all the island style stuff that makes country music. I love to play funky piano.

I’ve got more stuff than I could possibly list including a fair amount of studio gear and the knowledge to use it.

I have a full compliment of keyboards, electric and acoustic guitars, percussion and hand percussion, mandolins, recording gear and PA gear, not to mention the basses, drums, and other instruments I have if someone else needs something.
