Played club circuit long ago. Recently playing again live.
I play guitars on "Dusty", converted from audio cassette to MP3.
"Sahara" is a one-man-band instrumental recorded on a home-use 4-track analog cassette tape. 1st track started with drums and rythmn guitar. The experimental recording went over the top on distortion and bass. I play three guitars, bass, programmed drums and messed with the stereo mix, panning (left to right).
"Walk It" is a 2nd one-man-band recorded the same day as Sahara with the help of Jack Daniels "Sour Mash". This time I challenged the little 4 track with saturation on the mix, they were peaking way past the redlines. So the clipping or squarewaves were on purpose. The bass and leads are saturated. At about 1:56 I placed a clean Fender Reverb arrangement within all the chaos. Also placed a few really simple keyboard notes in the background to make it interesting. The ending climaxed with some funny riffs and accents.
Looking for local musicians or a band to collaborate on projects, record, jam or play live.
