Experienced bassist in search of a guitarist, a drummer, and a singer to form an energetic powerful group. Looking to write all originals along the lines of Taddy Porter. Sort of a country rock kind of feel. Backing vocals a plus. Would start off with covers in the style of music we would ultimately write.
Looking for musicians who want to be an integral part of the writing process. This is a group project - not someone's individual ego trip. Not looking for anyone who already has too much going on in their lives and is looking to add one more thing to it. I do not mind working with musicians who are involved in other projects; I just do not want this project to be put in a position of waiting around for someone to figure out what they want. Seeking musicians who know how to work in a group setting.

If things sound like we are on the same page then we can see about meeting somewhere for a few beers or coffee to see if we can stand to be in the same room together. I also want to make sure I do not end up as a lamp shade in someone's basement and I'm fairly confident in assuming you want to make sure I'm not an ax murderer. I spent years playing in a band with top-notch musicians that I could not stand. I'll not compromise in that regard ever again. I don't care for politics or your personal drama - neither has a place in music and if you can't leave identity politics or your virtue signaling out of it then kindly move along.
Ultimately this project should be run like a business with each member having equal share in the work, promotion, and pay. I would like to play venues a couple of times a month to start and build a loyal fan base and build the brand. If this sounds like you get in touch.

Influences
Wide ranging from classical music and opera to country, jazz, blues, golden oldies, rock 60's through present, metal, some pop, funk, groove, and limited rap. Essentially if it is worth listening to and inspires something within my soul then I will listen to it.
