SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Other Percussion, Keyboard, Electronic Music.ABOUT
iVE BEEN TOLD THAT I AM A REAL REGGAE DRUMMIE
HUMBLEY I AGREE
I also love to play Latin,Afro-Cuban drives spicy
IM also born to play funky this is my true self played without much effort
Ive been in several bands in which ive recorded in pro studios, toured locally on west coast and Nevada
band relationships are like a fragile glass sculpture to be handled with care and respect.
Im looking mainly to sit in where a solid backline is needed but not discounting a band, not so interested in forming a thing from the ground up.With the right souls everything can fit together without much work. But im not afraid of hard work, been there done that.I believe that THE PRIMAL SOUND OF CREATION REVERBERATES THROUGH US ALL AND WE SHOULD BE A VESSEL FOR PASSING THE VIBE TO OTHERS.Performing is my thing,i love to create a crucial dance setting!

Influences
ALL REGGAE FORMS: dub, dancehall, four on floor roots, raggamuffin, rude hip hop mix,one drop
Santana's older trax also same but with Dennis Chambers on kit(he knows how to find the pocket in a full latin drum setting..I aspire to be that.
its hard to say what influences an artist. In the 80s heavy metal was all around you couldnt escape it as a 17 y/old{although i tried} but even attending DEAD shows and 60s greats like David Lindly ,miles Davis, studied odd time rhythms like Take Five -Dave Brubeck has molded my playing.
I love the exciting sound of crossover music-Yerba Buena,Ozomatli, and the shift in reggae and hip hop. Also I have played alot of reggae over 30 years and I a bit burnt out on the one drop, even though I know that a traditional one-drop is what alot of reggae calls for,but I have been able to emulate that feel ,but a bit more tick tock or funky drummer like.If there was an established and full reggae band that I could just slide into, and I mean full band ,,a trio does not make a full reggae band and im just past joining a "start-up" band,Im looking to stretch out and see if any players are into a crossover feel(NOT SUBLIME Please).
