With a stable of originals written in and of the southwest, the Dry Heat's high energy performances have been winning over audiences' across Texas, Arizona, Mexico, & the mid west.

Dave Schultz & the Dry Heat was founded and first recorded in Phoenix, Arizona 2002. We began playing venues in the Southwest U.S. and Mexico. In 2007 we moved to our new home base in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Since the move, we’ve played in many clubs in the Midwest. And wish to extend our music to more venues.

Dave Schultz & The Dry Heat specialize in dance/party music Alt. Country/Rock & Roll artists. With originals and covers featuring an outlaw sound from the Sonora Desert of Arizona. We are sponsored by Miller Lite and Dos Equis beer.
