So... what do you have going? If the band's good, I'll play any style. But after years of being involved with so many startup projects, I'm really only interested in established, working bands at this time. That doesn't mean you have to be booked four weekends per month. But as you know, the Denver music scene is tough, so if you're just trying to break into it, then I'm not the guy for you. Although they're not perfect, this page contains some generic MP3 & Video snippets of me playing bass & singing, and gives at least some idea of my basic abilities. I play other instruments as well, so each track has an indicator of what to look for. Also, I play many more styles than what's listed here.

Influences

Any song by any band that is played well. I don't really have a favorite artist or genre. I just like good songs, no matter what they are. I'm influenced by it all, and find that all styles teach you things that you inevitably will use throughout your career, no matter what band you're in. So I try and play it all.

EQUIPMENT

Everything I own is top of the line Pro gear. Ibanez basses (4 & 5 string), Markbass 'Jeff Berlin' Amp, SURE microphones, mic stand, direct boxes, and on & on. After 35 years in the business, I have everything that's needed for any gig, including my own Mic cables. All I need is for the soundman to tell me where the SNAKE is, and which channels to plug into.
