ABOUT

David Michael fell in love with music at an early age, picking up the guitar at age nine and making his first professional appearance at the Florida International Music Festival at age twelve. Since that time, David has played numerous shows across America, both as part of a band and as a solo singer-songwriter. Complementing his emotive guitar passages and rousing harmonica solos are vocal-driven melodies which inspire as well as entertain. In addition to his heart-felt originals, David's live set includes fresh and inspired performances of the best classic acoustic-rock songs from the 60's to the present day.

"I recently relocated to Maine and I am looking for a working (or near working) situation with any motivated band (cover or original) that has it's act together (in other words, working or near working). My present bio reflects only the work I have done recently over the past few years to stay busy. I am the former vocalist of touring hard-rock/metal bands "Centurion" (1982-86), "Asylum" (1987-89), "Major Havok" (1990-93). Although I am now 50, I can still sing the "heavier stuff" with power, range, and tone. I also play both electric and acoustic rhythm guitar and am an experienced, dynamic frontman."
