Billy Davis has been playing around the Pinal and Maricopa counties in Arizona for about 20 years. Originally he was born and raised in Chicago, moved to Arizona 1981. At 18 he started playing metal for various rock bands in Pinal County. In 1995 at the age of 24 he went back to his roots and started playing country music for the band Fire n Ice. He has since played in several bands over the years. In 2005 as “On The Brink” he went to Laughlin, NV to the Colorado Bell for the first annual Country Battle of the Bands. They took first place by the judges and they also took the People’s Choice Award. In 2009 Billy and the band Davis Highway got the honor of playing at Country Thunder in Florence, AZ. He disbanded the band for a short time in 2010. In late 2010 after a lot of discussions with friends and family he decided to put Davis Highway back together. Currently in the studio recording a CD check out .davishighwayband for the first two songs from the CD.
