ABOUT

I left for Nashville in '96 and spent 7 years working steadily and touring with a signed artist. I loved it but decided to come home in '03 and have been working as a hired gun lead guitarist ever since. Experienced in studio and live performance. You can also find me at this address dbsneed03.

Influences

Jack Pearson from Murfreesboro(the best guitarist you've never heard of), All Allman Brothers Band Guitarists, Jazz horn players(Coltrane, Miles), Brad Paisley, Brent Mason, and I have spent years trying to adapt what Jerry Douglas does on dobro to my lead guitar style.

EQUIPMENT

Guitars, I don't always bring them all to the gig but...'91 Tele Plus, '83 Ibanez artist semihollow body, '97 Paul Reed Smith, '80 Alvarez acoustic, etc..but these are my workhorses.
Amps, I stick with two main ones..Early 80s music man HD 130 and a Yamaha T100(Designed by MJ Soldano). These are heads that I usually run through a pair of Hughes and Kettner 1 "12 cabs or a fender 2 "12 cab.
Effects are basic. I like a pure tone with some OD and Compression. I do use some delay and rotary simulator(tastefully I hope).
