Tampa (based out of Brandon) progressive rock band Dead End River seeks bassist to complete its line-up. Currently we have a singer/keyboardist, two guitarists and a drummer. Our current bassist is moving out of town, so we need a suitable replacement. We have a great deal of live and recording experience between us and seek same (not required though). We're inspired by epic, melodic rock with an edge...Pink Floyd meets Deftones...Sabbath meets Radiohead...STP, Blind Melon, Beatles, Zepplin, Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, The Who, Down, et al. We also like to add a techno-industrial sound to the mix, a la NIN and Primus...We're seeking a solid, expressive and creative bassist for our original, edgy sound. Experience is good, talent is expected, and an open mind and willingness to experiment is a MUST. If you're currently in a band that's holding you back, or you're looking for a band to allow you to expand your instrumental imagination, then contact us. We are located in BRANDON, so please keep distance and travel in mind. Dream big and make it happen. Prefer ages 21 to 35. No drug addicts, cop-outs or excuse-makers...let's rock.
