ABOUT

Dead End River, a progressive rock band based in Brandon is looking for a keyboardist/electronica/industrial/techno master. We are an established band who has opened for bands like Helmet, Kylesa, Karnivool, Marcy Playground and Days of the New, and we're looking for that person who is willing to commit to a professional level band. This is a position with an ORIGINAL band, so if you're not in it for the long haul, let's not waste each other's time. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to explore their musical horizons and challenge themselves to be a better musician and songwriter. We are not looking for some one who is just going to play what we tell them to, we want this member to be an important and valuable part of the songwriting process in our band.

What we're looking for:
Professional attitude - We practice 2-3 days a week, Tuesday and/or Thursday from roughly 6 to 8-8:30, and Sunday from Noon to roughly 5. If you can't commit to that, we're not interested.
Professional level gear - We all have professional level gear, and we expect you to have the same, we are not interested in providing you with the gear you need.
Open musical mind - We're not looking for some one who is locked into a particular genre or musical sound. We are all about exploring our sound as a band and you must be as well. Our influences, but are not limited to: Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Mastodon, Metallica, Tool, Rush, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, and many more
Drama free - We spend a lot of time on our music, and this project, and we're not looking for some one who is going to join and then derail it with personal drama. We're 420 friendly, but if you've got an issue with hard drugs, don't even bother. This should be understood, but just putting it out there.
If this is you, contact us at bellhollow or call 813-477-9800.
