Influences
My first real influence was a local Warren, Mi band called Busy Street. They performed many Who songs and classic rock for that era. Since then I have focused more along the lines of Clapton, Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20, CSN, Eagles, and John Cougar, Seger, Cooper, Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels, SRC, Frigid Pink, MC5, Brownsville Station, Nugent, Amboy Dukes, etc....
EQUIPMENT
I have two sound systems. One for my home recording studio and one for playing out. I have QSC, Alesis, and Soundcraftsman Amps, Bose 800 series speakers, Ampeg Subs, Peavey 1522 Speakers, several recording and live performance mid's, Shure SM57 Wireless Mic, Alesis effects, N-Trac Studio Recording/Mixing, two light trusses, a light bar with multiple color lighting, Tascam 6 channel recording mixer, drum machines, virtual mixers, Ampeg Bass Bottom, Peavy Bass head, Peavy lead amp, Yamaha 5 pc Stage Classic Drum Kit with Zildjan and Sabian cymbals, a covered 6x10 Pacer Equipment trailer....and much much more.

Dee Michaels (contact: Dee Michaels on Facebook)will be hosting the Performance under the Pavillion talent contest at Past Tense. Local Musicians, Singers, Barbershop Quartets, Choirs, and Childrens Musicicians are encouraged to participate in this wonderful opportunity to perform and at one of the most sought after venues in Southeast Michigan.
This will be an amateur talent competition/show to be held every Sunday from 1-4pm starting Sunday June 20th through August 29th at the Past Tense Pavillion.
Winners of the competition will have the opportunity to perform at the Annual Past Tense Fall Festival in September/October for cash money.
We will be auditioning local talent very soon so please email me with information about your talent, availability and I will get more details back to you.
So if you would like to show your musical talent, get an opportunity to perform in front of hundreds of people and get paid cash money for your performance, send me an email and we'll get you on our list to get you more information about auditioning for the competition.
If you aren't a musician, dancer, or singer, please contact your friends that are and let them know all about the event.
