Ok, everyone....there has to be musicians in the St. Louis area looking to start a band. ------
I am a guitarist/vocalist in my mid 50’s interested in assembling a small group of musicians to perform a few times a month in the St. Louis area. -----
I am searching for a drummer, bassist and keyboard (maybe another 6 string) with some degree of humility and an open mind to various genres to form a group. Age and gender are not important. Vocal ability is not necessary, but a little back up would be nice. I am open to most levels of expertise on your instrument, but if your experience is limited I would ask that you have a commitment to learn and improve.-----

Influences

I enjoy playing nearly all kinds of music including old rock, blues, country, folk, classical and standards. Rap, punk and extremely hard rock music do not particularly interest me, however I’m open to any good song.-----
The influences toward my music are very broad beginning with artists such as B.B.King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Rivers, CCR, Neil Diamond, Jim Croce and the Eagles in my early years to current artists such as Clapton, SRV, Jonny Lang, Elton John, and many more. ------
Other artists I enjoy are Don McClean, John Denver, Chris Rea, John Prine, James Taylor, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, various country artists, Roy Orbison, and many of the “old rock ‘n’ roll standards.
