This is a newly formed cover band project. We are loosing our bass player to the current economic crisis. He is moving out of state for the day job! We shall miss you Ward and wish you all the luck in the world!
With that said, if you are a bassist that knows his instrument, who has a good ear, knows how to stay in the groove while tickling those strings, WE WANT YOU!
Like I said, this is a newly formed project. We are practicing on Sunday’s (negotiable) at Noon in Royal Oak, with the goal of gigging on a regular basis by summer (or as soon as the set list is complete and tight, which ever comes first) on the weekends or special occasions as agreed upon by the band.
We are all in our 30’s. Now all we need is you! We prefer someone who can sing lead and/or back up vocals to make the band more diverse, but if your chops are good enough, WHO CARES! Age makes no difference as long as the attitude and personality fit.
Must be a team player and willing to work as a band member, not a one man show! Confidence is good, rockstar B/S is not! Collectively we are rock stars! Get it?
We all make mistakes and are forever learning our craft, so a “One For All, All For One” attitude is what we are looking for, with a mind set that there is always room to grow musically and allowing each member in the band to do so.
Each person has a diverse list of influences and as such, their “preferred genre” that inspires them musically, but the format we are primarily focusing on in this project are the 90’s and today’s Alternative Rock & Pop. Things you might hear on 89x or WDVD. We may also throw in some 80’s and Standards (Play That Funky Music etc.) if the occasion calls for it.
In the “Influence” portion of our profile you will find our current set list, and other songs that are on our “Song Idea / To Do list”. If things gel between us and you become part of our team, we DEFIANTLY want to hear what you would like to add to that list!
So, if you are a bassist that loves to play music to entertain and have great time doing it, want a sense of loyalty to the project you are involved in and feel an undeniable passion to play music, give us a call and let’s set up a time to jam.
Must have own equipment and wheels too!
