ABOUT

We're a hardcore death metal outfit from the Waterford/Clarkston area. We desperately need a bassist, and we would not mind a rhythm guitarist and/or a keyboardist, provided you have your own equipment. 5-string bass is preferred. We're looking for anyone between from 16 to early twenties. We play in Drop B tuning. We're trying to do something a bit different, and we try to write music that takes some talent to play, as opposed to your average "chug chug wee" band. We are shooting for heavy, and we are shooting for angry. We're just starting out, although we've all been in other bands before. A lot of our influences are technical, and although we hope to play more complicated music, we aren't quite tech. We do incorporate a basic knowledge of music theory, and switch up time signatures and such. Nothing ridiculous, but we do write outside of just 4/4, and we're not afraid to experiment. Brad and I also intern at The Crofoot in Pontiac, and have some experience booking bands and working shows. Brad booked for his old band, and has experience booking shows and the like. I can be reached on , or at /xxsanities_requiemxx (forgive the lame url, had it since I was 14.
