Remember The Day Do you know how it feels when there’s no one you can talk to, no one who understands how you feel? The silence it kills me oh I think it’s sad, don’t know if my soul is alive or dead. So I tried to explain it to this one friend of mine, he said it gets worse all of the time. Life it’ll stab you right in your back, ain’t nothing you can do will change that. So I tried asking God for some help, lord I know he heard me oh how I felt. I felt really bad didn’t know what was going on, how long must I wait before my pain is gone. Deeper Sometimes I don’t find it easy, to live my life and an honorable man. Sometimes I don’t find it easy, but I’m doing the best that I can Just as you see I do feel, I feel the people that I hold near. Dear to my heart, my inner self, to find total peace would be my greatest wealth. The long cold winter seemed it would never end, too long too far too deep down now my friend. The deeper I fall, the deeper I get, to the end of something that’s better off dead. If I fall down deeper to this trap, would you still be there for me could you cut me some slack? Would you take me in your arms and hold my soul, put my head against your breasts and never let me go. I want you I need you but is it the same, I know that I love you and it’s no game. Sometimes I fly away from the flock and find myself alone on some barren dock. If I die before I wake I pray the lord my soul to take like he did one time long ago. Take me down to the resting-place where I will have a smile on my face, like I did one time before.
