Dick Ants is a death metal band from Colorado. Erik Hanson (lead guitar/vocals) and Taylor Scott (bass) created the project back in 2007 in Evergreen, Colorado and recruited Peter Gorman (rhythm guitar) to play near the end of the year. Now that Erik and Taylor live in Lakewood and Peter lives in Denver we can actually get things moving.

We take the instrumental section of the music very seriously as a form of art, however the lyrics should be seen purely from a death metal perspective because they are - to say the least - pretty messed up haha.

We have five songs fully written and intend to begin recording soon. Through the wonders of modern technology we have been able to convert our MIDI files into piano tracks that sound completely epic. They are uploaded on our myspace page (www.myspace.com/dickants).

We intend at this point to record CDs and play small shows around Denver then eventually begin touring.
