ABOUT

Here is my story about a guitar player.

I have been the worship leader in our church for 20-30 years. About 15 years ago I was seeing that my worship leading had become flat, rote, uninspired and not very impassioned. I decided to challenge my musical abilities by playing solo gigs (my drummer joined in my second week) playing coffee shop gigs of cover songs of classic rock songs from the 60s-70s. Many of these songs evoked a raw passion I hadn't felt in some of the worship times. I have been doing this since.

Now my drummer is thinking of lessening his involvement while I am thinking about increasing. It is a nice challenge playing solo but I understand that my gifts are limited to do justice to these songs and for my listeners. I am now looking for a band to join or musicians to join with me.
