I started playing drums when I was 6. I played and took lessons until I was 19. I played with several bands in the Florida area from the time I was 16 until I turned 19. I never touched another stick until January 2005. I purchased a Tama Starclassic Performer and I've been practicing about 2 to 3 hours a day. It's like riding a bike, the speed and the smoothness is coming back quicker than I expected. The set is similiar to the one I owned way back when. 5 mounted toms, 4 cymbals, highhat. The double bass pedal is awesome and I have perfected quadropulets fairly quickly. I am 45 years old, but I'm told I don't look it. I still have all my hair and have always stayed in shape. Looking for a band thats tight and ready to rehearse.
