Dieter „Jack" Jagiela, born and raised in Germany, he has been playing guitar for over 30 years, specializing in blues.
He was bandleader and organizer for the
Uptown Shufflers for 11 years. An R&B Band, that toured the European Club circuit. During this time, Dieter and renowned blues bass player Kevin Duvernay formed the "old school" style band "Mississippi Callin". This band toured the European Blues Festival Circuit for 2 years.
In 2004 Big Joe Turner, former bass player B.B.King, 8 years, (Isaac Hayes, Albert King, Little Milton) "discovered Dieter at a Blues Festival in Germany, where he was head-lining. Dieter was now the leading guitar for Joe Turner and his Memphis Blues Caravan. Big Joe's Band head-lined the big Blues Festivals in Europe including Germany, Spain, Hungaria, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, France, Italy, England, Wales, Lithuania, Morocco with Blues Bands from all over the world. Dieter toured with Joe Turner until his death in 2008. Late 2008 he was playing a tribute concert with Joe's Band at the Kaiserslautern International Blues Festival in Germany and more concerts are planed.
Dieter married and immigrated to the US in 2010. Since, he has played with the 4 Kings, N.E. Ohio R&B Band as the lead guitar player.
Late 2010, Dieter formed the North Coast Blues Machine, recruiting local blues professionals for this formation, of both traditional and progressive blues with a little kick of R&B to finish it off.
