Thank you for your interest in the position. Here is some additional information and requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Professional attitude - no wannabe rockstars
2. Good business sense - the understanding that EVERYTHING you do as an artist represents the band you play for.
3. Good stage presence - If you don't walk off stage after a set and looked like you just got your ass kicked, then you shouldn't be there.
4. Professional playing ability - lead ability is preferred, however we don't over utilize lead elements in our writing, so exceptions can be made.
5. Able to tour - we are very picky about which tours we take, but nevertheless we tour. We've done short runs (4 dates) to long runs (38 dates).
6. Solid musician image - because it matters.
7. Availability - we rehearse anywhere from 2-4 times per week depending on several variables.
8. Social media - must know or be willing to learn and implement several methods of social media promotion. We do ALL our own web promo.
9. Backing vocals/screams - preferred but not necessary.
10. Writing - Having knowledge and ability to write appropriate commercial rock music is preferred, but not completely necessary.
11. Willing to work - we bust our ass in this band on AND off stage. Be part of the team or go home.
