I started out playing guitar (self taught) for several years and formed 2 separate original bands in Buffalo. For the past few years I've switched to bass full time. I've played in several cover bands including a red hot chili peppers cover band that I play in at the moment, part time. I've spent time taking lessons from some of the most prominent bass players in Buffalo. I use finger-picking but I'm not against using a pick if it's called for. I can also play slap, and use some tapping techniques from time to time.

Influences
Anything funk/blues/jazz/alternative/progressive etc. I will most likely not play country music unless it's unique, and I'm not experienced playing speed metal or death metal etc. I'm much more of a groove player.
My favorite bands are all over the place including: Tool, The Tragically Hip, Tom Waits, Rush, Dinosaur Jr.
those are just a few major influences off the top of my head.
EQUIPMENT
I'm constantly adding equipment when I have the money, but my rig at the moment consists of my 4 string Ernie Ball Musicman Bass... I either play out of my Fender Rumble 100 2X10 amp combo, or I have a full stack Galien Krueger 1X15, 4X10 and 750 watt head. I use Mogami cables and I have several pedals I like to use when/if needed.
