ABOUT

I'm 26 years old. Picked up the acoustic when I was 17, been singing since a came out of the womb. I know enough on the guitar to entertain a crowd for an hour or so, but consider myself purely a vocalist. Love to rock, there's nothing better in the world than having the crowd feeding from the palm of your hand. I was previously in a modern rock/metal cover band (2001-2002 DieselDown). We played out a handful of times and rocked the house each time. Unfortunately, a lack of clear direction and some personal demons afflicting my mates put the kabash on growth and creativity. Not even sure where 2 of the 3 are at, or if their even alive. Completed a studio project in 2004. (The Haymakers - Aultwoods Studios, Galion, OH) Several of the songs have enjoyed some radio play on the Fox Local Rock weekend. The CD has a Pink Floyd meets Neil Young flavor that's pretty cool, though it's not the style that I prefer going forward. I met a drummer a couple of months ago that has a similar story and vision for the future. We're looking primarily for a lead/rhythm guitarist and some bass strings to put it altogether. I wouldn't say we're hellbent on taking over MTV, but the vision is certainly more than just a hobby band jamming in the garage for a few friends on weekends. Would like to put together a few covers to get going with, but ultimately have a strong desire to create original music. dirtymon1012 . com
