Distant 2nd is an Industrial Rock band, with sounds ranging from Nine Inch Nails to Type O Negative to Ill Nino.

The music has gotten a strong response, to the point of being invited to perform at 2 shows, one of which is a major music festival in Chicago next fall. Also, one of the songs is currently under negotiation to be used in an upcoming major market movie.

Distant 2nd is one person big, so gig performers are needed to start doing shows. Here is what is needed:

Drummer 1 - preferred experience in Drum n Bass or other syncopated styles

Drummer 2 - pad experience useful, mostly digital/electronic effects

Keys/Synth - Dual synth playing, knowledge of scales useful, some guitar experience preferred for occasional dual-guitar songs

Bass - Rock experience preferred, knowledge of scales useful.

Offer open to all musicians willing to commit to learning songs quickly and who live within reasonable range to NYC (NJ, NYC, Long Island, PA ok)
