I’m a decent lead guitar player – no guitar hero. I’d like to find a band to play with once a week or so – some covers, some originals. The occasional gig maybe, but ideally not. A bit of recording for kicks.

I’m in my mid-thirties. Once played in a reasonably serious band but now just want to have a laugh and enjoy playing some good music well.

I would prefer a band that dabbles in different styles. Some of my musical favorites include the Replacements, the Jam, Neil Young, the Who, Tom Waits, Buffalo Tom, the Waterboys, Led Zeppelin (sorry), the Cure. More recent bands that have caught my ear include Sufjan Stevens, the Decembrists, Arcade Fire. I’d enjoy drawing a bit on different styles too, including reggae, 70s R&B, even a bit of country.
