I grew up in what I call a traditional way, raised in the country church on hymns, took piano lessons then swapped it out with guitar in my teens. Started singing some, writing lyrics, nothing big. Traveled with the USAF, came home, hosted an open mic night and some of the guys and I formed a band. Did that for a few years until marriage got in the way but now marriage is out of the way. I can read music some, know when something doesn't sound right, get along with most musicians who are easy going and who like to have fun.

EQUIPMENT

Not much right now, Yamaha acoustic, Peavy PA, a few speakers, stuff left over like from a divorce with a band. The plan is coming along for an electric, amps, really good mics, supplies, and a cooler for beer.
