JOE STEEL was started in the 80s in New York. After 10 years on the club scene there, we went our separate ways. The guitarist and I (bass) have gotten back together recently in LA and are looking to pick up where we left off and take JOE STEEL to the level we should have achieved in the 80s. Our sound is hard, very heavy and melodic. We are looking for a dedicated team player that is not a run of the mill club musician. Our sound has been called arena ready rock with driving hooks and pounding rhythms.

Influences:

Aerosmith, Pantera, Beatles, Hendrix, Scorpions, Metallica, Deep Purple, Ted Nugent, anything hard, heavy, loud and melodic.

Equipment List:

Marshall Stack, bi-amped double stack of Ampeg SVTs with (16) 10" and (2) 15" speakers, custom rack system based around Ampeg SVP PRO preamp, Digitech TSR-12 effects processor, numerous stomp boxes, including talkbox for bass.
