The "Doc" Driver Band started October of 2004. With "Doc" Steve Mayo being head over the band and Larry Driver being lead guitarist they managed to find 3 other local members to get the band started: Tim Jackson, Steve Cooper & Clint Worth. Not long after the band started up "Doc" needed a female vocalists to help the band out, and who did he ask.. his very own daughter, LeAnne Wesley!! After a few years Larry Driver, Steve Cooper and Clint Worth had to leave the band for personal reasons, so "Doc" replaced them with the very talented Morris "The Cat" Hendricks on guitar, Paul Bowen drummer and Ron Rollings on bass. The band plays from anything from Southern Rock/Classic Rock, Country, Alternative, R&B, too todays Top Hits on the charts. They love to show their variety of song choices to please each and every single person in the crowd. The "Doc" Driver Band plays locally in Henry County in different bars and restaurants. They also do weddings, private partys, music in the square, music in the park, and Perry Fair.
