ABOUT
A client of mine named Paul Richter is working on a project right now called Doctor Striker and is looking to put together a band to back up his shows. His project is kind of prog-rock, experimental - think Gary Numan meets Trent Reznor but with a kind of Billy Joel pop sensibility.
Three people, all with good stage presence, 28 or younger, the more diverse they are, the better
-One is a bassist with a good tone, something easily audible, with a distortion pedal and a chorus pedal.
-One is a drummer with an organic kit with a loadable electronic controller to download synthesized drum samples.
-One is a multi-instrumentalist. Needs to play both guitar and synthesizers. Synthesizers are hooked up to Ableton on the computer.
-$50 per person/per rehearsal, and $100 per person/per show, no drugs or alcohol while we rehearse or perform
-"The show that I perform is highly physical. I do push-ups on stage. I deadlift people. I dance. I want people who can play their instruments and match me with energy. Some of the parts are easier, some of the parts are harder, but I'm looking for people with a clean sound for the Industrial Electro-Rock. "
-If there is a group of people who already play together, who fit these parameters, I would love to hire them
