SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist - Tenor, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Background Singer.ABOUT
I am looking to connect with musicians like me, that have gigged for years and now just want to play once in a while for fun or gigs. I started playing in clubs at age 16, worked in bands in the Philly area in the 70's and 80's. We opened for the Hooters and Cinderella in the early 80's. During the 90's I was in a band in Albuquerque that got some local radio play and NM State Fair gigs. I was in Strait Lace from 2007 to 2010 in the Southern Tier of upstate NY. The band did covers of 50's-2000's music. We gigged almost every weekend from Elmira to Canisteo. I then joined a band that did mostly 60's music. I played lead guitar at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church and led worship with a full band at Campbell Alliance Church 7 years ago. I recently relocated to Elizabethtown, KY. I was in a Louisville classic rock cover band recently, playing lead, rhythm guitar, lead and backing vocals. I can gig on the weekends, Friday and Saturday nights or during the week if need be. Please contact me at donwalker1960 at g mail as I am not a "premier member" I cannot respond to any inquiries.
