ABOUT

Always looking for a part-time or full-time, working band.

I am available for short- or long-term opportunities. I can usually fill in on a moment's notice if I'm not already booked, and can learn most set-lists quickly.

I have over 40 years of experience playing all genres including big band jazz, jazz, swing, blues, rock, country, country-rock, fusion, Latin, R&B, soul, and everything in between.

Classically trained with Thomas Stubbs of the St. Louis Symphony, and studied at the University of North Texas where I majored in applied percussion.

I played in and traveled around the St. Louis area for many years with many different bands, orchestras and national headliners, and I was also with the United States Air Force Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps.

Having moved to Colorado, I've been playing in the Denver area and I'm currently the drummer for Still the Same, a Tribute to Bob Seger; Bad Colorado-A Tribute to Bad Company; Sound Bite (Classic Rock, Blues, Funk, Pop); and, regularly sit in with many area bands on a fill-in basis.

Formerly with the Michael Rhodes Band, Crosley Hotshot, Twenty Hands High, Lesster More Band, Crossroads, Canyon Station, Shotgun Lullaby, The Midnight Hour and Renegade. I have also appeared with Aaron Kantor, Michael Brooks and Friends, and Funk It Up.

Non-smoker, no drugs, non-drinker before or during shows, and most importantly, no drama. I take the trade seriously, but have fun doing it. Excellent equipment, excellent meter, and able to play with click and/or backing tracks.

If you're looking to start a BS&T, Chicago, or other big band tribute, please look me up---I would definitely be interested.
