Band to Join.

ABOUT

After spending as much time as I can stand playing hip-hop & smooth jazz gigs (aka The Saxophone Ghetto), I'm looking for something closer to my musical heart. I'm looking to join a contemporary Country or Classic R&B/Soul flavored group that needs a solid & rock steady pocket to build on. I've been awarded 8 gold & 4 platinum awards, 3 Honorable Mentions from NARAS (GRAMMYS) and have performed on hundreds of recordings for some of the world's best known entertainers. I've been touring since childhood and realize that the "Music Business" is two words! I'm sober (no drugs, no drinks), fully equipped and willing to travel, though permanent relocation is something we'd have to discuss (I built a home with a studio and don't want to give it up.)

If you're a member of Rehearsers, Anonymous, please look elsewhere. I understand the need to rehearse and am fully willing to do so but I'm looking for a WORKING band, not dreamers. Preferably, I'm looking for a spot with a group who's touring currently or has gigs booked or has an excellent chance to tour in the immediate future, though not incessantly. I was with a band for 3 years that spent approximately 250 days a year on the road. I made a heck of a lot of money but my dog growled at me when I got home and my own daughter didn't know who I was!

Influences

I think I've been influenced by almost every drummer I've heard. They all had something to off....well, most of them anyway!

EQUIPMENT

Presently, I'm playing a custom-ordered Ludwig Epic series setup. Also, I use a Millennium Digital Drum set (my company) through Alesis DM5 and a rack mounted PC containing hundreds of samples including BFD.
